There is no question in this story about what it is, it isn't portrayed as proper BDSM or consensual. The tag being there is because it includes those themes, which it does. This film (and the manga) are rated as strictly for adults and there is a reason for that, they aren't for kids who don't know what this kind of stuff is.
Basically my point is this, don't try to tell adults what they should or shouldn't enjoy, it's fiction and it hurts no one, these characters are not real and we adults who read what they go through know how to differentiate between fiction and reality.

I kinda agree with it, however i do think there are some story that romanticize those themes and i think a line should be drawn there, like, sure you can enjoy whatever you want as long as you realize its fiction and see it as such. But, are those scenes really there to keep the plot going? or are they there just becouse it looks cool and all? idk if i'm making myself clear i'm really bad at expressing my thoughts
I agree. I enjoy dark stuffs—so long as not gorey tho—because I am well aware, in my mind, that it’s fiction. And even tho I enjoy reading/watching them, I know I would never like seeing it happen in real life. I don’t get how people gets mad at things like rape or violence in a fiction, like, ?? Why are you here?? We have genre listed on the story and what do you want? Unrealistic colorful story all the time? It’s like they don’t get but still read it anyway. Some people even think they’re smart and saying “stop romanticizing rape or violence blablabla” like wtf. How is fiction romanticizing it? They were showing us what could happen when such situation arises! We are aware that what we are reading is true and we envision what is happening in our head, looking at it from a character’s pov. Those dark themes are of course not normal, but sometimes people hate and get bored of the same old normal things like cute sweet romance or missionary sex position for hot scenes.This is when dark themes shine, it is made for for specific audiences who wants to see the dark side of humanity or just simply using is as masturbation material, nothing more, nothing less.
