Am I the only one who feels this way or do a lot of the characters in this manga look really similar? Even by chapter 50, I still find it a bit hard to tell many of them apart.
Aside from a few like the ML, Hawn, and Geumsun, most characters kind of blend together for me. I usually end up relying on hair color, eye color, or outfits to recognize who’s who, since the facial features feel quite similar across the board.
Maybe it’s just me, but I do get a little confused sometimes while reading.
Could anyone recommend more manga or novels like this? Thank you!
Did you read “Turning” or “Pajiae”?
Did you read “Turning” or “Paljae”?
King's maker!
Thank you for the recommendations! I've already read Turning and King's Maker and really enjoyed them.
I actually tried Paljae a few months ago, but after 3–4 chapters I was a bit lost and couldn't really get into it, so I ended up dropping it. Since so many people recommend it and it has such great ratings, I'm planning to give it another try sometime. Thanks again!
Thank you! I've already read King's Maker and loved it.

maybe you’ll like Sangyang: The Wanderer
Yeah, it's definitely confusing at first, but the more you read, the more it starts to makes sense
I'm reading it now and I'm already 42+ chapters in and still going. It's been such a wonderful read so far and I'm really enjoying it. I'm looking forward to seeing how the story unfolds. Thanks again for the recommendation!
Thank you for the recommendation! I haven't read Sangyang: The Wanderer yet, but I'll definitely give it a try sometime.
An Abyss: Poem of Chaff. But it's actually wayyyy more traumatic than this. But it has beautiful art, is historical fiction, and has a very serious politics-based plot. Unlike this though, it has a lot more smut and is uncensored. O.o
another beautiful series with doomed yaoi (as in it ends in tragedy) is perle. in all honesty, nothing really compares to stigmata. king's maker season 1 is great but the way stigmata portrays religion feels wholly unique. as for other works that are of similar quality while dealing with different themes, canis by zakk is amazing, and anything by yuhki kamatani (although they don't write BL, they write queer stories as a queer person themselves, but i think their works would be an excellent read for pride month).
Canis mentioned! Truly peak
Thank you for the recommendation! It sounds interesting, especially the historical and politics based plot. I'll definitely give it a try sometime. Thanks for the heads-up too!
Thank you for all the recommendations! I've already read King's Maker and really enjoyed it. I haven't read Perle, Canis or any works by Yuhki Kamatani yet, so I'll definitely check them out sometime and I agree, there's something really unique about the way Stigmata portrays religion. Thanks again!
