I've read a LOT of yaoi and generally the ones based in South Korea and Japan seem to have a repetitive thing in it and that is a 'love hotel' and the 'red light district'.
So I want to ask the Korean and Japanese people, if that actually exists and what's the actual social standing of them?

Kiss etc in public but most people don't do it because of societal restraints..since it's still considered 'unethical'. But i guess the younger generation don't really care about that much anymore.

I just wanted to know if any of you beautiful mangago people know this movie, I know I'm sorry but I don't have any other platform to ask this.
It is an Asian movie. So, it's about a man, who does deliveries(I think) goes to a house but finds an abusive husband and his hurt wife, so without much thought he knocks the husband down and when he's about to leave, the wife follows him without a word and he takes her with him. Now this guy doesn't have a house. He selects houses where people have gone for vacations, stays there for a few days, repairs anything broken for them. So, this wife too helps him with the chores and they develop feelings, all the while saying not a word. For some reason i don't remember, they return to the wife's house and the guy is caught by police for breaking and entering, probably but serves only a little time because he is not accused of theft. In the prison, he masters the technique of what I describe as shadow fighting. He returns to the wife and he stealthily (THAT SCENE WAS SURREAL!!) has an affair with her. I don't know what happens to the husband because I don't remember~

So while yaoi precedes, another genre I like is horror but it doesn't mean the 'booo I'm the ghost haunting your house' or 'ghostbusters' type of stories. Though they are good, they don't interest me like realistic take on the supernatural. Now this doen't mean psychos and serial killers either.

In almost all of the BL manga/manhwa I've read on here, I always see so many comments saying they're gonna drop this because the MLs are red flags. Tf?? Y'all are not gonna marry those characters and if the MLs are absolutely green flags y'all better off reading like slice of life! I understand the feeling when like the MLs are extremely predictable or the same toxic things keep happening, then you get bored and then drop it BUT how TF you expect a good story arc if not atleast one of them was a shitty person?? The manga could've have only 3 chapters and I saw so many people saying that they're gonna drop it because the ML is toxic or fuck the ML because the side character is a green flag.

Why do you care about what other people want to drop?? If someone is the perpetrator of rape, domestic violence, abuse, or murder, why should they be redeemable. And in most stories, their toxic traits are always romanticized or the characters are depicted as being tsunderes. If you like copy-and-paste male love interests that have no personalities expect looking angry and being abusive, then do you. But don't feel ashamed and then project when people say they aren't interested in the same things as you.
I think you need proof of that generalization, I've dropped POTN, that story with with green-eyed-blonde and yellow-eyed-black hair love interests, Pearl Boy, and many others or skipped to the last chapter to see what tf is going on. I don't think as many people are into abuse and fucked up shit as you think they are.
