Author doesn't seem to have much emotional capability. She didn't even try to make sense in this chapter.
It's almost like the author wants to end this story quickly and removed all emotional depth in order finish it.
Hyesung deserves better from everyone.
The least he could've done was scream and want answers again. WHY DID HEW SAY NOTHING
Does anyone have the novel?
you can read it here https://www.novelupdates.com/series/lets-meet-alive/
I think I might be too dumb for this show
I’m not sure if you’re confused about the trimule thing or what they learned from the observer (or maybe both?) but i’ll try to explain both of them as best as i can
firstly, for preventing what they saw through trimule, i don’t exactly understand why? trimule wasn’t a thing in the novel, and the things they saw through trimule were all things that actually happen in the novel, so i’m not sure what preventing them is supposed to do, especially since most of their dreams were just sex..
when it comes to what they learned from the observer, they’re basically saying there’s a distortion in the universe. something that wasn’t supposed to be in the universe suddenly appeared, and started eating away at all the energy it could find and there was no way for gaia or any of the other gods to directly stop it. when a civilization gets to a certain point of advancement, these distorted beings will lock onto them and their energy to try and eat them too, and this is where the gaia system comes from. basically, it’s just a way for civilizations to defend themselves and get rid of the distorted beings that are eating away at the universe, since this was the only way that gaia could directly stop the distorted beings from killing off civilizations. what they’re currently going through in the story is like a tutorial stage, and once they clear the black portal at the end of the great dungeon, they’ll start to progress through levels (it’s really just like a video game, the higher the level, the higher the difficulty of the distorted beings) if a civilization can’t properly clear the black portal, gaia basically just gets rid of their entire planet so that the distorted beings can’t get any further into destroying the universe.
that’s basically what they learned about the gaia system and the distorted beings throughout the entire novel, not specifically what they’re talking about in this chapter, but it’s much easier to understand when you have all the information. sorry if that was too much spoilers ?
Sorry since I am a manhwa only reader, but trimule seems to indicate that it wants to separate the manhwa and novel into different universes/alternate timelines. Idk who’s handling the storyboarding and adaptation of the manhwa, and I sure hope they’re planning this with the authors approval, but it seems they specifically want the manhwa to differentiate from the novel events by introducing trimule and this plot point.
that’s actually a pretty interesting idea and makes sense considering what was said in this chapter ,, but so far trimule hasn’t really changed much of the story outside of the few times it’s brought up. when reading the scenes that don’t mention trimule, the story still goes on as if trimule never existed by following exactly what happens in the novel, and we’re already getting pretty close to the scenes that trimule showed them. there’s also quite a few important things that happen or get revealed both before and after the scenes shown by trimule, so i’m not sure how they’d go about switching up the story now
i guess we’ll only know when the next season comes out

Which chapter of the novel is this?
I need to know what will happen later now!!!!
