storytelling is wack and the narrative devices are all over the place. majority of the people are confused about the plot for a REASON. if it were only 2 people, probably because they're stupid but the MAJORITY? are the readers still the problem or is it the story itself? most of the story is incomprehensible because the author lacks the ability to incorporate actual necessary information in the recent chapters and fails to emphasize what they need to emphasize thats why it feels like a jumbled mess and the readers are left guessing wtf is going on, which could be an important narrative device if it had solid context built around it, except it doesnt. the author cant get the message across because the execution is weak.
if u wanted to create a profound story like this one obviously aims to be, the first thing you should do is to have a comprehensible plot line and a strong foundational understandable storytelling. even if you had the most amazing revolutionary plot but the way you execute the story is shitty, then its gonna be shitty. none of your main plot points are gonna come across strongly. great premise, limp ass execution, okay plot if it werent for the narration being straight up bullshit
warning: personal opinion. i really dont care about what you'll say to convince me that the story is this super amazing romantic great thing when i clearly think otherwise, so save it for yourself or for the next guy that happened to have the same opinion as me. arguing on mangago dot me out of all places is not my thing. do that shit on twitter
"What's on your mind, you crazy bastard" by Happ13unni is my personal favorite. It's basically a retelling of the story from baek saheons perspective and it's amazing. He's really in denial about his feelings:)
author just made some bullshit (negative connotation)
How?
