And I didn't lie. They do have strange behaviors, especially the men. They even have a law requiring camera shutter sounds to stay on because people were taking hidden photos of women without their consent. Another thing is that they normalize pedophilia a lot, which can be seen in anime and manga. Recently, an adaptation of a completely pedophilic "yaoi" anime came out. Japan is not a bed of roses like the media tries to portray. They committed war crimes against Asian women, they never apologized to the comfort women whom Japanese men abused during World War II, and there were the inhumane experiments they carried out on Chinese people in China. They even used to say that the comfort women were prostitutes who went there of their own free will. Young girls, children being used as objects, while men lined up to abuse them. But to this day, there has been no apology, and they hide their ugly past behind anime and manga. "Oh, everything is kawaii, blah blah."

So, this manga has a school club where the protagonist records people during intimate moments without their consent and thinks it's fun. Don't you think that's weird? They are weird.

I understand Japan's government has acted on and accepted cruel and inhuman things, but so has EVERY country. Not one country is free of some sort of cruelty. Does that make every single person weird? Of course not. You can't belittle someone based on their ancestry.

South America has done horrendous things as well. In Columbia, there were a few studies and evidence shown that locals used dating apps to preform homicides. These were majorly targeted towards tourists happening back in 2023.. though I'm sure it still goes on today. There's a long history of violence, extortion, homicides, gang-related activity and plenty more in South America.
Hell, public transportation is advised against at all times in Venezuela. The amount of crime that goes on there is ridiculous. Brazil. In 2023, there was the ACLED project that showed around 1700 individuals that were murdered because of the authorities and organized crime outfits.

I can't list of every single horrific thing a country has done. But I hope this further supports my point.

Japan may not be "a bed of roses" but it does have kind people. It has normal everyday citizens, living their lives, attending school, & putting food on the table for their families. Just because a country or continent has a disgusting past does not mean everybody who calls said country/continent their home, weird.
