I read the novel some time ago and I remember this very clearly. The Brown family was described from time to time, for example, how Jack and Aster grew up and fucked with each other. Basically, it was explicitly said that Aster is the only daughter of the Brown family.
If you want to be certain, you can check the official translation of the novel. Chapter 3 is free, and Aster is mentioned there:
"Becky, please summon Dame Aster Brown. I'm sure she's loitering downstairs."
She was incredibly tall, and her brown hair was cut short, but you could still tell she was a woman if you looked closely. I thought she cut her hair short because she was insecure, but she said it was just more comfortable that way. She said short hair dried quickly after washing, and wearing her brothers' clothes was best because they were free.
