Take off the romance tag. Take it off. If someone forces this happily aromantic man into a relationship with this messy ass nosy and noisy annoying thief of a musician I will cry. This story gave me so much anxiety because I was so happy to have a brethren for the happily single club (personally aromantic) but so scared of the romance tag. I am panicking! This man spent a life without love, HAPPILY! Tbf he might’ve not minded relationships if he met women who respected boundaries, but he’s definitely not finding that in this life either. His own family won’t respect his boundaries. His friends don’t respect it either! Also, why the fuck do you have to have it be a special event or for a special person when you buy good food? He’s living the dream! I respect him so much. It’s totally reasonable to not want to be responsible for another persons emotional and physical well-being! Relationships need a lot of time, mentality, patience, commitment, communication, money, and capacity for romantic love. Sometimes we lack one of these attributes, and that’s OKAY. Don’t force yourself into a relationship. Damnit.
I’m sorry but this somehow feels like rage bait. I am so pissed at everyone except the female lead. This whole shit makes my body shake in anger. The dragon with the shitty long contract, the male lead with a disgusting personality that pushes the life draining job of an empress, and to sum up everyone; these filthy pigs don’t listen to people who they claim they care about and decide on their own that being imprisoned was the best fücking option to someones “undermining health”. Man I remember why I dropped at chap 23. I get that my man isn’t ace like me but I’m her for action damnit. Good for him but .n. I just wanted action scenes, not even more people to nag him about safety. I get it, he deserves someone to remind him to stay alive but it could be from a bro. Or from an inanimate subject. If it had to have romance, I’d like it much farther into the plot. Maybe at a time of need. Some way that might have made me sentimental for their relationship. She just shows up out of nowhere for no particular reason besides that a friend gave her a strangers number and said to go on a date with them. Like wtf, and the way he presented himself to her would have made me back up. So why was she ready to waste her life like that already??
