Definitely would've been nice to have a trigger warning for chapter 26. Not sure why we didn't get one just because it's ML sexually assaulting MC. Trigger/content warnings are there at the beginning of the series and at least prepare the reader or the reader can skip that chapter. Not as fun to read when you have to see a scene that mirrors your own sexual assault...

So I just read the newest chapter of the officials. And despite having read it already, I just noticed something I didn't the first time. You can see that Joshua has a scar from his C-section! Now we all know Chase is an idiot (I mean Emma could be his twin for real) but how does he not notice that a "beta" has a C-section scar?!
Has it always been there??
I mean he probably thought it's just a normal scar from an old wound, not from a c section?
(Edit: the officials made me reread chapters leading up to the most recent.) I almost want to go and see if he is shirtless in any other scenes to see if the scar is noticeable there too!
I did think that as well! That would make sense! I guess it may not be so obvious if 1. We as readers didn't already know Josh has had a baby and 2. I'm in the medical field and that's where my mind goes first for a scar in that area. I'm overthinking haha
