This story seems pretty interesting but it aint made for me i need a bigger hook, plus, i may be dumb for this but like i dont understand why the doc guy just let hinself be killed. All in all i reccommend reading atleast 2 chap to see if you like it.

Yeah, it feels slow just because of the publishing schedule but I bet when it's animated this arc will feel much shorter than expected. (Unless the director drags it.)
