Is it just me or does ch 48 toward the end have this weird kind of misogynist rhetoric happening, cuz what the fuck do you mean your world is reduced to “a man’s genitals”?? I don’t know if that was just bad scanlation or if it was intentional
Yeah those comments are even in the novel from what I’ve read so far. Around that part of the story he says, “Just because you have lied about that, I am not going to be a gentleman today,” but she doesn’t say anything about the genitals really.
You pick up as you read further that she starts to feel embarrassed by how turned on she gets by the littlest things after this so it could’ve been a bad turn of phrase to try and sum it up there.
I felt the same and I'm starting to feel sad for her. But at the same time, if you think about her life history presented, the phrase makes sense and it's kinda heavy.
The author should try to make her a little bit happy idk let's see the next chapters
