So... I don't know how I got here. Seriously. I was only looking for an entirely different BL You can never imagine the sheer of disappointment and frustration I felt while reading this. There's no plot at all? And, let's talk about the fact or stereotypical dynamics between the main leads... First off, the mc looks like a child. For the record, it's okay for a guy to have feminine features—it's something they cannot control at all, but what I'm saying is... He looks like a child, like he's still in elementary school. It's way too fetishized and a p3d0 click bait and I'm very disappointed. It just reminds me of CEO and Y/N... Let's also talk about thumbing him down as a twink/femboy, like yes let's try to get away with making a fanservice of our mc to get people to like it! Wow, just how bad can this get... Secondly, I hate the ml. Just because someone got caught in your web doesn't mean you have the fucking right to r@pe them, his character is poorly written and I couldn't be any less disappointed.
I honestly can't explain or describe what I'm feeling right now, I mean yeah sure... We all liked the special chapter, especially when I found out we were having a swap AU but I never expected it to be full of r@pe. For me, this subject is very sensitive and to all other people out there who agrees with me... What's important is you approach the subject with gentleness, not to glorify or justify it and I'm not accusing of the author, I think I get where the author is going at for this special chapter—the atmosphere or the vibe was obvious. It was dark, cruel and the reality of the world we live in.
Anyway, enough rambling about what I think... I'm well aware that there was also non-consensual acts in the main chapters, but I think more people should be aware about the r@pe scenes that's happened in the specials. I am not in any position to judge your tastes nor shame you for it, but remember that just because they're fictions doesn't mean you can treat them without any care in the world. After reading this in one go... I realized lots of things. I've never envied a person, let alone a fictional character like Jaerim. The author did a good job, even though there's still unresolved feelings amongst some of the side couples in the story! I appreciate reading this and now I can understand why it has 9 stars ^^ Anyway, as I was saying... I never envied a character so hard like Jaerim. Why? Because he never gave up. He actually taught me what true love is, to never give up on your loved ones. I applaud him for that, cause I would've dropped everything and tried moving on without looking back, knowing I'd regret ever letting go some of my loved ones... He's strong, he's honest, he's him. That's why I envy him. That's why I felt this aching feeling honestly and I know I sound cliche but I just wanted to share this with everyone who's read the manga so far! I really liked how everything ended, though I want side stories These characters are so complex yet so simple, it's rare to find authors who put so much effort into their works at all and I'm glad I found one who gave their all in this manga, because they deserve an award for this!
