I know a grown ass man who had an illness for a bit and he became awful to everyone, but he's a grown ass adult, yet people were still understanding, even 18 year Olds were understanding, bruh.
I get that its supposed to be a "Oh he's such a cute tsundere that hits you when flustered!!!" type thing but him hitting his boyfriend even when they actually date is such a turn off. This man is being left with bruises and red handmarks after slaps all the while being terrified of the person doing this to him might leave, its not very haha cute and it feels like the author is very much trying to make domestic abuse look like a cutesy tsundere thing.
I rlly wonder where all the "cute" and "romance" tags come from (it's totally fine to like the story, but I feel like I fell for wrong advertisement lol). The ML is a giant creep from the beginning too
