So man y authors blur the line telling us that pushing the limits of someone is "romantic" instead of assault (so many times I have read one party asking to stop and the other answering, something like, "you say no, but your body says yes" and bs like that) I am genuinely thankful for this author, and this depiction. Just because your body reacted doesn't mean you wanted or enjoyed, it's a natural body response that it's out of our control, same of someone punch you, you didn't consent, you didn't want to feel pain but your body reacted regardless. It's not your fault, you are not the one to blame
