felt so many emotions , I wish the ending made a little more sense/felt a little less rushed, but it was a GREAT read nonetheless. five stars

They do it “one last time”- and to keep his end of the deal w his family regarding assets the ml gets engaged to a woman (therefore he could free mc’s brother without giving up all his assets, and doesn’t seem outwardly unhappy about mentioning their “one last time” )
Ya i think it’s also an engagement to a woman but i don’t think he will marry her. He probably has a trick up his sleeve

Yess hahaha I just reread that part too and tbh during my first reread I was kinda pissed at the seme (I'm an uke protector, I always side with them lol). Especially because I know that the medication (extra dose) the uke is taking is making him more emotional and that ultimately, he's trying to do what he thinks is best for the seme. I mean eventually ofc after reading the rest of the novel that fog came off and seme is a green flag. But during my reread, looking at the seme's point of view, he didn't do anything wrong.
(Sorry if keep saying seme/uke, I'm bad at remembering names. I also have a rlly bad headache.)
I cried about 4-5 times. EXTREMELY realistic description of child abuse on both ends. Both the uke and seme had fucked up childhoods. This was so well written I legit got ptsd flashbacks. I’m not the one to be brought down by triggers though I find stories like this comforting. Very confused at the reaction in the comments though. What’s messily written here? This is genuinely how things play out in real life and exactly how C PTSD flashbacks work for people that have it. But everything is opinion based ofcourse. I truly hope most people can’t relate.
