tbh i think she's trying to respect his distance since it looks like he doesnt want to use his 'parents' money to make him look like he got the top grades or just simply him not wanting to be a 'burden' to his parents.. I get ur point, but I still think this makes no sense. He's a teenager so his parents are responsible for him.and he doesn't like that school either he can't wait to graduate. If I was this rich there's no way I'd let my kid get bullied I'll definitely send him to the best school in the country or I'll send him abroad (and I'll make those bullies suffer)
