mc (kang jin) is caught in the house of someone who betrayed the ml (noel). kang jin’s reasons for being there were suspicious so noel chained him up in his house. also, he and kang jin also know each other from when they were kids but only noel seems to recognize him so far.

kang jin seems to be involved with that someone who betrayed the ml (the betrayer is oh myungsuk if i remember correctly im too lazy to check) and he has a motive for getting closer with noel.

noel also keeps testing him because he really is suspicious lmao but it shows that kang jin is very clever and efficient since he managed to get the key for his chains without noel noticing.

i also have a theory that he’s circle.. which is the hacker mentioned in the last panel. and since the title is circle trap... u can say it’s full circle

the story and mc is so interesting!!!!! i wish there were more like him in other manhwas... their chemistry is amazing too and [spoilers]

judging from the raws, mc seems to have some kind of motive (?) he manages to get his chain out and showed it to the ml but he still stayed. also they knew each other from when they were kids and seemed close. in the latest chapter, i think mc found out something in the locked room of the house. they also had sex judging from the last panel

rarely do i like love triangles in shoujo mangas (sometimes because to me theyre,, boring? same old same old and because i get 2nd lead syndrome a lot) but damn this really had me looking forward to it..... because it's THAT interesting and seems so vital to move the uka and miura's relationship u know? i love the mangaka so much she is amazing..

i love seth ( :( i hope he gets a back story) and i wanted them to end up together too but look at it from henry's pov as well.. guy had abandonment issues since he was a kid then here comes sam whom he's so close with to the point where sam's parents and siblings were his family too. that abandonment issues led him to his cynical thinking/view of love which gave way for his choices when it came to sam (choosing not to say anything even when he knew sam was in love with him too, etc. etc.). not to mention his guilt after that accident with sam - guilt because he was selfish (not wanting sam to leave him). sam quit baseball which made the guilt even worse because henry knows sam loved baseball (remember, he doesn't know sam only liked baseball because of him).

the story showed us WHY he did things like that. plus henry even admitted it to himself that he's the one who's been thinking like a kid all this time - with seth and with sam. i think henry's thoughts and actions were human (in terms of being a slave to emotions?) and it made sense to me. tbh i got angry at him esp at that chapter when sam said he knew sam was in love with him (feeling like will when he said theyre really dragging this out) but looking back + their discussion after that, it made sense.

throughout, henry showed us the painful reality of being scared to love & the consequences of that fear and how to get over that fear.
