I read this maybe a year or two ago and cannot for the life of me remember what it was called. It's about a boy and a girl best friend pairing who are school aged. The girl is a Flower, which basically means she is more beautiful than regular people and people are either frighteningly attracted (kinda similar to alphas losing their minds over omegas) to her or hate her because they're jealous. Boy and girl have feelings for each other but won't admit it. Eventually they find out through her uncle? cousin? that the boy is a Bee, which are like Flower protectors. I think there's some angst over whether this means they really love each other or is it there biology. I don't remember what the Flower Universe is called so l'm having a hard time looking it up. Thank you for any and all help!
