So this is considered assault by definition, but this story has been in a gray area of sexual assault from the very beginning. Ideum assaulted or more like sexually harassed Jaeyi when he masturbated in front of the window for him to see. Ideum was going off the assumption and fantasy that Jaeyi liked it. The author could have made it so Jaeyi genuinely did not enjoy that without consenting to it, but this is a BL story so she didn’t. No hate to her, but in real life Jaeyi probably would’ve pressed charges. I’m not saying what Jaeyi did was okay because Ideum assualted him first. I’m saying don’t be surprised that they both might do things without each others consent, because that’s basically how their whole relationship started. Yes Jaeyi agreed to sleep with him and Ideum agreed to be fwb, but the beginning was definitely a lot of “oof this is assault but I’ll keep reading because for the most part it’s a green flag relationship” Okay rant over :)
