Comic skips details, novel is much more fleshed out. The early chapters stuck much more closely to the novel but I think the story got too complex for the artist to keep up so they dropped some stuff to keep up on the weekly releases. Unfortunately, no English translation for the novel. Google translating raws is pretty decent.
