Ok a review:
The plot is so interesting. Warning for spoilers: But the plot twist, gave. Like there were subtle little hints shown through visual story telling and I highly commend the author for that. I mean wow, just wow. Reading it felt like a novel, it's good too that the drawing is able to portray the characters inner emotions.
For the characters themselves, As shit and utterly vile Heeseo is. He, his actions aren't, well it's like he's not hatable. Like sure he's displeasing. But everything he's done makes sense and though morally ambiguous is justified. His obsessive and possessive nature stems from the fact that he wasn't given anything. The moment he could comprehend the world he was exposed to literally everything horrible. With his mother he wasn't happy and he was definitely not with his foster parents. So even if Taekyung was lying to him, even if he knew he was. He still clung to him because when everyone was shit to him there was at least someone who cared. And he used that as a way to manipulate Taekyung because he cared, yes he lies but he cares. The way he treats Taekyung, is also like not his fault fully. Taekyung is an enabler he let Heeseo get away with everything. So you can't really fault him, that's also because of the age gap why it would make more sense to blame Taekyung in some situations. Because, yes. Heeseo is manipulative but who allowed him to act like that without repercussions? Taekyung.
Now let's talk about Taekyung, while I do find Heeseo great as a character I love Taekyung more. To put it simply you put 2 different kids in similar situations. Heeseo reacted and grow up the way he did whereas Taekyung also did but differently. His approach to situations, his complete facade of indifference and the mask he wears. God. SPOILERS!! because despite his foster mom being a murderer and him suspecting all along. He clung to her, it's similar to heeseo but except, heeseo seems to not care but is more on the present and accepts a fact out right. Taekyung dwells on it, he weighs down the moralle of everything. And despite having a strong sense of judgement, because of his trauma and he does everything to get validation. That weighs heavier to him than his sense of justice. He's gray and gay and I love him eitherway.
The plot is good, the pacing also is. It didn't feel overwhelming or far too confusing. Everything made sense. I feel kind of iffy with Taekyung's adoptive brother like the thought of them getting together make me slightly repulsed but who am I to talk when I say through Taekyung and Heeseo's age gap and all the shit that went down between them?
Anyway I hope the plot doesn't get fucked in season, because I have a suspicion it will. And what I mean by that is if the author adds nonsensical plot lines and whatnot, so that's that.
He didn't get overwhelmed but instead he was worried more for piggy's sake than he was seeing his own identical body looking dead. I literally wow I literally had to scream when asked "hey are you okay, get out of there it's not good for you" I AM IN SHAMBLES
