Is just me or chapter 8 and 9 are not matching?

Is it just me or chapter 8 & 9 are not matching? In fact, chapters 7 to 9 the story wasn’t consistent to me. It looks like the MC is at an area one moment, then the next the duke and her are talking about meeting the second prince. He wasn’t properly introduced. I want to read the story but if it becomes this inconsistent I might drop

Reading this because I'm currently reading "the snake that swallowed the pomegranate" a lot of comments on that webtoon are saying it's the same author as this novel.
