Honestly, despite the poor character development and character design and such I still somewhat enjoyed this, until the first arc finished and the second arc started growing brainless characters and the absolute bullshit story development. Why the fuck does she put up with this shit in the convent. Really, I tried to overlook it hoping it was just temporary, but it just got worse and worse and now I just can't read another page without igniting an urge to strangle the MC and every other character in the scene. I'm sorry, but I'm dropping this. I don't want to waste any more time on this bullshit.

It’s difficult to sort out my opinion on this manga. I don’t think your gender defines you all that much and therefor really dislike how this society forms discriminating people, not to mention that I somehow feel that growing up genderless ’til you’re 10/12 yo would teach children how ones gender doesn’t define everything you are and I therefor find it odd that the adults are so focused on it.
But on the other hand I can’t deny that a gender is a part of your identity and like any other change in your life, it will change you. For someone that doesn’t want to change, which is also an option really, to be forced to choose something so life-changing while not wanting either futures, is really problematic. Even though I think staying genderless should also be an option for situations like Hinase’s, but with the death flag awaiting right around the corner it feels like Hinase’s real choice has been robbed.
What do you do when your choice doesn’t exist? Or if that decision will inevitably lead you to a dead end?
Personally, I think if sexless is a choice, that would be nice for Hinase. But this is not just a matter of identity, it's a matter of health and life and death, too. So, at the end of the day, they have to choose. Beside, I think the "Hinase's real choice has been robbed" thing is a little bit much. It's not like Hinase really wants to be sexless, they are just simply confused right now and haven't decided yet. Whether Hinase will be a male, female or non at all, all these choices are still on equal weight right now.
That might be true, but I still think that how the world/society limits the choice by saying that Hinase can only be male or female is wrong. Idealistically speaking. I’d like to believe that our choices change us into who we are, but Hinase is struggling with a choice that might have been easier if there was a third option. And it may be about life and death, but Hinase doesn’t know that. I interpret it as Hinase has a fear of change,
Didn’t he craft several of that potion that healed his mother? So he should be able to heal both of them, right? Or did I remember wrong?
He needed several items and it was just enough for one dose. There were some extra parts but it wouldn’t have been enough, or at least that’s what I remembered.
I got curious so I looked it up and he crafted x6 of them. He’s only used one of them so far so he should have 5 left. So what is this decision he has to make? Does it have something to do with the new information he gained? Something like how he should proceed and that has something to do with if he should help the old man or not?

He refused that guy at first to know how he will react. Whether he will ask his son to persuade hunter sung to heal him or not. Luckily, he did not..so after that guy went to eternal coma, sung healed him without the former knowing that the latter gave him the healing potion. Sung really did have a soft spot for that baby boy. Uwu.
It’s true he doesn’t have the ingredients to craft it again, but when he crafted it only once in that chapter he got 6 doses of them all in one go, not just 1.
The ingredients were hard to get.

Chapter 48 made me feel the urge to drop this. I love the story up until 47, but what the fuck was that conversation they just had!? Every single one of Gio's quotes are just the most moronic things I've ever heard. And you're telling me that this idiotic and narrow-minded person is leading other people!? I really like Song, but her not calling out his shit logic actually made me dislike her. I can already imagine how many problems Gio is gonna cause by getting unnecessarily involved, of which is going to make my bloodvessels explode and throw my phone into the wall. Do you know how much that will cost me?! It'll cost me my sanity, my health and money I would rather spend on fruitlessly opening pokemon booster packs cause I already have problems in my life! ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ
I don't know if I should drop this right away to spare myself the pain or if I should trick myself into thinking that the author is impressive for being able to bring these emotions out of me and push through the pain.
