I started reading this after seeing a reel on it and tbh it was the best decision of this year. I really wished for a happy ending but if I think about the character of Maximillion I believe this wa the best ending that could justify his character-a man who always hide his pain behind a smile. The scene where he comes to see Jean on his engagement really broke me. Its just I really wished that we could see more happy moments of them. My babies deserve better world to live in.
