It's not that we're necessarily grossed out by a child having a crush on an older dude and I can agree with you here that a lot of people had this when they were younger, but it's the way people are romantizing and shipping it that's really wrong. Plus the older dude's been getting shy and blushy whenever he thinks of the child. Even his friends are encouraging this behaviour by telling him to give the child a proper answer about how he feels about him and they also teasingly call him his boyfriend. I don't know about you but I think that's beyond the pale.

Also, it's true that some kids have been introduced to porn from a young age but that shouldn't be normalized???? Like at all. Me and most people who are against the manga are definitely not taking this out of context, it is what it is and it's nasty. Such a waste of pretty art fr. I know this can be a real situation, but it's the odd way they're portraying it in the story that's repulsing me. I only read it because I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt since I do like the art style, but alas, it's deplorable. I liked the story too before it got weird. I thought it was a cute friendly/brotherly relationship between two boys, until they had to ruin it.
