I can't tell you at which point this got campy and cliche but by the time they bring in him fighting a fallen god, it had fizzled to a lackluster story. There's zero chemistry with anyone in the romance department, which is fine, except the author is trying to build two harems, one in the modern world and one in the other world. Neither are believable and every time the girls fawn over a man, I die a little inside.
I really liked the initial concept. The idea of him creating a magic where he learns and levels up by sleeping is cool. The idea of a lazy protag who sleeps all the time, to get stronger, was pretty fun when this first started. Now it feels stale and with everything else it just makes him feel too OP in a cliche, boring way. I also miss the early version where he had banter with people in the beginning. Also, I have no idea who the guy in chapter 1 is because apparently his father is a TV producer, so why does he have a relationship with a cop??? Why is that cop buying him food??? Who knows, probably won't be brought up again. Overall, mid in a very disappointing way.
