do we ever get zhenya’s perspective or thoughts?
currently rereading and noticed we get thought bubbles from some side characters, and i’ve read the novel (translated in third person) but i don’t remember everything. like what do you mean i get to hear what his brother is thinking but not himmm. is there any moment in the novel where we get that??
and if not, does anyone know how the writing/drawing situation works in hopes that the author has full control and might give us his perspective one chapter or volume? :(
i’m sorry, i don’t like the uncle or the brother.
i get you, i definitely understand the brother more, but i think he was forgiven too easily. holding your brother back under the guise of thinking he wouldn’t want to work as hard as you when really it wasn’t just that. he obviously saw some of the parents attention leaving him and didn’t like that either. to then also try to control him as an adult. nvm, i thought i got it, but he’s still weird and immature to me.
“saw some of the parent’s attention leaving him and he didnt like it either” lmfao wtf is this take.the brother’s is literally not in good terms w the parents in the present bc he genuinely loves mc more. I understand not liking his character but to misjudge his intentions is wild to me even when it’s so clear.
idrgaf what you think. if you really think his brother said all that stuff just because he thought his brother wouldnt want to study as hard and excel in sports, that’s your own misjudgment. he was also a kid, so there obviously was a little jealousy for him to say all that stuff when he was younger and control him all the way into adulthood. if he truly cared of his brothers feelings, he wouldn’t continue to push his friends away and push him to do what he THINKS his brother should do/wants him to do. not sure how you think that’s healthy. the only opinion on this matter is how easily he should be forgiven. and i personally don’t think he gets a pass just cause he’s not on good terms with their parents anymore, esp since he’s still so immature, rude, and controlling up until a few chapters ago.
