I havent reread it at all, but I assume its either bad writing or dante doesnr have the adrenaline to actually break them. And theres a chance they may not regenerate anyway
They won't regenerate for long as dante slowly lost his immortality
Maybe it has a cooldown cause he was dying too much lol he didn't get hurt in a while tho
He could just kill himself too since he wants to die. He's been there for a while and didn't even try to bite his own tongue or something
