I will be dropping the Manhwa. The manhwa doesn't do justice to the novel. The novel is a much better read than manhwa. I would recommend the novel for you fellow readers.

Yeah the manhwa made me drop it too, it wasn’t really interesting for me and seemed a little boring
The flashback scene is in ch 107 however I'm not completely sure as I didn't see any hospital scenes (I haven't read the novel) I think the pacing might be different so just read from the beginning
I really hope that the story doesn't end with, (to save the world sacrificing the gifts/skills/magic).
Read a couple of my fav novels end with that kind of ending. Was disappointed to say the least. Ex, Jujustu kaisen, I Became the Tyrant of a Defense Game
