For me, it depends on how the rape is played out in context with the story. If it's one of those stupid "Seme rapes uke because he 'loves him' and is bad at 'expressing himself' then the uke magically loves him back and acts like the seme did nothing wrong" stories then I absolutely hate it. First anime was Pokemon, nearly 20 years ago. It played during the Saturday morning cartoons on one of the few channels I could get with my family's old tv's bunny-ear antenna. First manga was Fruits Basket, around 10 years ago-ish. Reading that was what led me into the wonderful world of manga and anime, and I've been hooked ever since. :D   reply
