I agree with the people saying the sex scene made it really shallow, I wish we explored more if these two would be afraid the friendship would be ruined if they dated, I hate how it was reduced to.. ya know.. her liking him because of his physical body and not him for who he is. Like.. it felt so shallow.

I've been waiting my whole life fpr a beta top and alpha bottom but this really disappointed me, the fact I was uncomfortable the entire time reading the chapter because alpha clearly is in so much pain and the author is putting so much focus on the fact he's uncomfortable. The beta is just really pushy and kept going in despite the alpha stating multiple times that it hurts. Beta better not try pushing him to do that if alpha doesn't want to, I'm this close to drop their story.
I think we have a different view on things on what went down, but I completely see where you’re coming from!! I see it as more of him exploring and experiencing newer things that went outside of his values from his upbringing as a child. As someone who read the raws, I can affirm that although the beta is naturally pushy for his personality, he takes it slow to accommodate to the alphas unfamiliarity of the whole situation—trust me, he does not find comfort in his distress
