Don't you just love it when your partner breaks down in front of you for being overly paranoid that he might be a bad father instead of talking it out with you and going to therapy <3
Considering his history is it really that surprising that he kept his fears hidden? also people need to stop commenting "communication will solve everything"- damn, it's okay if you don't want to talk about your fears and sometime it takes a while to gather the courage to finally bring it up. Additionally, some people DO find it burdensome if their loved ones talk about everything that bothers them - because then you are sharing hte burden and not everyone is in the headspace to accept that. Not everything is so black and white as everyone wants it to be.

The amount of times I cried while binge reading despite knowing how the story goes really shows that no matter how many times I read this, it still hits the spot.
