The mediocore MTL of this manhua likely doesn't show justice to the real interpretation of every poem and quotes they recited. In fact, throughout the entire chapters from chapter 1 until the present although the translation is easy to understand, it isn't really doing a good job with the flow. That's why us, readers, can't see the significance of their poetry and literature that incited the "surprised and shocked" faces of the Emperor and the scholars xD. At this point, I relate to the expression of the idiot brother of Ruan Qing. What do I even expect from manh**h*t TL *sighhh*
I also feel that the story is progressing too rapidly and some important details were forgotten like the Zhong something – I forgot the chinese equivalent they said from the first chapters, was it like Zhong Yong??? for Beta/Average something. Lol even I just remembered that there was this concept bcuz they mentioned it again in the last update like it was significant for the past many chapters ago like what? (Idk if it's either the translation or if the story is just written poorly). The beginning was interesting but as the plot progressed idk anymore. I definitely feel that this would have so much potential if it weren't for the pacing and tl of the story.
But so far the story is probably still far from ending? Not sure. I'll just judge at the ending of this manhua. If there's a better TL quality in the future I'll try to reread this again xD.
I agree while I live the art I feel like it is a bit rushed. I also forgot about the alpha thing until I had to make a comment to try and summarize the missing chapters. I really wish there was a novel I really like their interactions but I feel like something is missing.
