It's apparent that vast swaths of content was removed to cram as much as they could into the anime. Pretty clear it'll only get a single season I think. That said, I'm enjoying getting to see all this extra and expanded stuff that was removed from the anime script.
we knew already, but in the end, she's just a racist. actual actions or sins don't matter, just if the species is vampire or not deserves death. Though tbf there are plenty of vamps like that dude that came to see the ojusama that are of the opinion that humans are cattle and should be treated as livestock.
I don't know how true it is but I have a LOT of assumptions about gravure idols and the girls basically having to play hostess or even prostitute themselves as part of the "off the clock" aspects of their job in order to make the right men happy and want to promote them or feed them work... Even here, this girl had to go to a mixer with 3 middle age dudes because they are connections in important positions. :/
hmm.. he says he'd give it serious thought in 5 years... is it because of her age or because of life events might settle down by then? or maybe his own age and when he's 5 years older he'd think about it? Wondering because I don't know how old this princess is supposed to be... especially with that figure, though I know that girls w/ figures like that at surprisingly young ages DO exist, they aren't the norm.
ya know... I was thinking about dropping this since I've only been skimming it for the last several chapters as it'd gotten rather boring. So just as well that it ended.. but what a lame ending. To be expected though I suppose. I really can't understand how the level of "evil deeds" that Wendy did, like scaring babies and putting bugs in 1/3 of the wheat reserves, counts as "maxing out her evil" and grants "Demon lord" upon death... I mean... that's like levels of evil an par with Swiper from Dora the Explorer.
These condescending aunts sure are running their mouths and jabbing at sore spots while their sister and hero's wife sits there like a mute... with the line about "it seemed interesting so I granted it" followed by "that child's wish could lead to war" and "only Elen can do something about it" makes it sound a lot like "Queen Mommy gave no thoughts and may have just fucked up a lot and now daughter needs to clean up". Queen Mommy has been pretty consistently depicted as being rather smooth brained and flighty in this series....
given that the little shit cast his magic to cause the cave in RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE TEACHER, you'd think that would come with some punishment or grounds for expulsion... it's pretty clear that this teacher plays fast and loose w/ the rules and had zero intention of expelling either of them but wanted to threaten them into doing this mission. presumably to force them to work things out, I'd guess.
I can't say that I'm enjoying this deep dive back story for Victoria. Little Vicky is so sweet and so pathetic that I want to scoop her up into my arms. I don't need to see an innocent and unloved child be tortured and corrupted for the amusement of these so-called gods. I may need to let it cook for the next 3-6 months so that I can skim on through it and get back to Raoul kicking the ass of that shit-eating goddess that locked herself up in the demon castle so that she can have the demon queen raped repeatedly until she's given birth multiple times.
I've never really understood why massive flying magic reptiles, aka dragons, almost always have giagundo mammaries when in a human female form. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the visual, but just thinking... it's not like they're making milk for baby dragons or trying to attract male dragons based on their human forms.
while I think it's great that MC is going to fully take care of his parents and has gifted his sister a top tier summons that will sync w/ her dark elf, I think it's pretty shitty of him to NOT deliver the news/gifts himself. Even if it isn't true, it has the feel of a guy who's "too busy to bother with family" and has his secretary remember birthdays and getting gifts and such.
ugh... I wish they hadn't gone down the slave trope. I hate the vague "we'll set you free someday" with the inherent "but we'll use you for free child labor until we don't need you anymore".
I see now... so I'm willing to bet that this "god" has been manipulating all the people around child Vicky in order to lead things to this point where they could then swoop in and make her an "offer". and in reality, she's been played from the beginning and nurtured into a vile pawn. Which is heartbreaking because I felt like child Vicky was such a good little girl and I would have given her lots of hugs. But author-san loves doing this sort of thing so that when things go south they have more impact and slap you harder.
