It would have helped the pace imo, except the author wants everything to be revealed when the court case becomes publicised. Or maybe we’d get that in the next 4-6 chapters. Longer than that and it would feel draggy to me ngl.
The angst between them is alright since Juheon has a lot of trauma so it feels like it should.

Chip cheated, no excuse for it. I don’t think it’s being justified it’s just understandable that he did. He should have left a long time ago, because cheating is never it and it’s horrible. Lauren doesn’t communicate jack shit. Apart from Jacqueline no one knew why he was the way he was. The only reason he stood up to his mum was cus Chip cheated.That made me so mad. He never cared that much emotionally probably because he too was suppressing his own emotions.
I don’t want them back together though, cus they both have serious, serious issues.
Overall, it’s pretty realistic. We all have ugly parts. My only take away is that dealing with things our own way might be easier than getting hurt but when it involves others we end up hurting them.

Almost at the end, chap 47 but MC should have ended up with Eric. ML got the wrong idea all by himself and instead of saying he is sorry and all that, he was just driven by jealousy. He’s supposed to be sort of trash since he always did whatever with women but I hope he suffers soo much. Pissing me off.


Side note: Please recommend manwha’s with green flag ml which is hard because yaoi but so tired of these Tops and he isn’t even one the worst of them which is sadder

Soo 3/4 manwhas. I think all are isekai and maybe its same story but different plot
1. The ML lost his first fiancee while under his roof because she killed herself when she found out she had the emperor’s? Baby. We find out later the housekeeper knew of her troubles and sort of encouraged her to die so as not to bring shame on her master’s household name. The emperor hated the MC and the FL was very clever, knew how to get around people and helped him win

2. FL was kind of a healer and was friends with the og FL, also a healer who had been cheated on and abused by i think the prince. She was supposed to fall in love with the ML but obv that didn’t pan out. We later see that the prince didn’t want to show his affection because anyone or thing he showed affection for his father killed. The ML had black hair and the prince red. But the og FL didn’t get back together with the prince.

3. ML was a war hero and kinda right arm of the emperor. He was going to kill everyone in a particular region. FL was the bastard of the main noble and she was lined up to be executed. Somehow she makes the ML not kill all of them but just imprisons them. She could cook, that’s all she dreamt of making recipes. Cooking is the main thing in the manwha

4. I barely remember this. But I know at some point, after it had been shown all the wrong doing the girl and her dad( nobles) had done, the noble’s daughter conspired to secretly swap souls of the girl noble and the FL who is loved by the ML. So that the noble’s daughter would live the rest of her life the FL’s body. So in a you vs me struggle, the FL ends of killing the noble’s daughter.

I honestly don’t quite remember much of the story. It’s BL, I think the mc wrote horror stories or was a mangaka . He wasn’t very popular but there was someone(ML) who consistently commented on his work. At first it was about how it wasn’t very good or something then it gradually improved and he started looking forward to the next chapter then out of nowhere the MC stopped updating it I think. I don’t know how they meet and that’s pretty much all I remember

The premise of both are the same. It’s set in high school. Both MLs can read thoughts. In the first, the ML needs to have touched a part of your body so he only wears long sleeves to avoid contact. The MC here only has lewd thoughts of his fave idols having sex.

The second one, the ML doesn’t need contact to read thoughts and the MC is a fan of pretty boys which the ML is and collects posters of some idols. The MC wears glasses and he always looks annoyed even though he is freaking out and fanboying over how handsome the ML is

From the comments it seems the MC was even more frustrating than in the movie. I am gonna pass

I have held off from reading this book so many times. Must have dropped it probably 5 times. I’m writing this so I can make an edit when I go through with it this time. Currently at chapter 30 and I’m so tiiiiirrreeeeddd. The author does a fabulous job of showing karlyle figure out his emotions, it’s not rushed, it doesn’t suddenly come out of nowhere. Showed how hard it is when you burdened by a responsibility to meet an expectation and not meeting it and it making you doubt your self worth and so on. But I wish we could have like another pov, or something comedic or silly instead of this same outlook
