Absolutely can not stand stories where author tries to convince us that it’s a happy ending for the rape victim to end up with his rapist.

Ocean Vuong is such an amazing author. This one’s about his life, told from an immigrant perspective of starting life in America. It sometimes leaves you feeling empty and hopeless but also strong? (Idk how to describe it.) Have a go :)
