Right now I think they’re together just because it’s convenient but I really think they can do good. The princess has experience being in the limelight and seeing past pretenses, as well as being someone who is emotionally and financially available for being someone’s support pillar. The knight — though extremely traumatized — has a detachment to society that allows him to indirectly put the princess and him on the same playing field despite their differences in rank and often provides her something her life has never allowed — normalcy.
Anyway I think they should get married (●'◡'●)ノ
I’m sorry I know its toxic but I want them to be together SO BADDD ヽ(`Д´)ノ
Idk. Maybe I gotta read more before replying. But this story is goated. ONLY thing tho, Eunha lowk pathetic. I understand the bullying part, but allowing people to die? Instead of transferring, reporting or maybe idk learning how to fight, she'd rather allow people to die. Its just a story but bruh that is the most loser thing. This is coming from someone who used to get bullied, just slap the bitch, dont just sit there and take it acting like a uwu girl with a murderous ghost, and turning a blind eye to people dying just cause she got beat up or rumors were made about her LMAO
Girl are we reading the same story, or are you just slow? That main bully girl has powerful parents that will let her get away with anything, while all Eunha has is her dirt poor, indifferent dad. Obviously she can’t fight back or transfer, that’s literally just common sense. You’re probably a bully too the way you’re defending those bullies like your life depends on it, holy projection.
they called her a "loser" for letting people die. im not saying i agree with their comment, i dont find her pathetic either, im saying that their point was never that the bullies were in the right or something. its that mc doesnt do anything to stop the murders.
well obviously im not blaming her for that or anything, im just explaining that their reply never justified the bullies' actions, but is criticising her lack of action to prevent the murders.
Just loud and wrong. How tf she supposed to stop Haesu from killing people?? Also she isn't "letting them die", how is she supposed to stop haesu from doing what he wants. Is she supposed to go the police?? If anything, that other guy should've called his grandpa or whatever to exorcist Haesu. Why is she responsible when they are literally the ones who did this to themselves?
YES THANK YOU, exactly this. I hate this whole victim blaming narrative, like realistically what is Eunha supposed to do? Mind you these bullies have shown zero remorse for their actions against her, yet somehow they expect Eunha to put her life on the line to protect the same human scum that made her life hell.
The original commenter doesn’t have to say they defend the bullies verbatim to be defending the bullies, it’s called reading between the lines. That commenter didn’t even try to put a bit of the blame on the bullies and instead went straight to insulting the MC, ignoring that the bullies fully brought it on themselves by brutallly bullying Eunha and forcing her summon Haesu. Not to mention, the commenter minimized her bullying, like wdym “just cause she got beat up or rumors were made about her”? Those bullies literally subjected her to awful physical and mental abuse for years. Insanely insensitive comment for someone who has been bullied in the past.
i just feel that it is logical to say that in our society, bullying doesnt usually lead to the punishment of death, and drawing from that basis, what i interpreted from their comment was that they wanted the mc to be basically a 'saint' (despite her already having inner monologues of being conflicted abt what to feel abt her bullies' deaths) who would care enough to ensure her own horrible bullies were not being over-punished. well obviously i dont agree, but i didnt think of it as defending her bullies but more of a criticism of the mc that i didnt agree with.
but one thing from ur comment that i realise now is youre right in bringing up that they only blame the mc, but imo its not bc they think the bullies are in the right, to me its just that they have really weird high expectations of the mc which are impractical for a victim who has gone through so much to have firstly, the emotional capacity to even fully feel the need to save her bullies, and secondly the physical/practical ability to do something when she has felt so small/helpless for so long + how impossible it might feel to do that with a literal super powerful ghost who she can't fully trust in the picture.
but regardless of my interpretation, i realised from your comment that i was being too narrow-minded and only focusing on what i felt was the op's main true intention or whatever, that i didnt realise the way they formed their comment likely could have stemmed from a belief that took more of the bullies' side in the first place and sounds like victim blaming. ultimately i agree that its insensitive like u said, and honestly a really shitty thing to say if it were a real case irl. its just that from my perspective, i didnt see it as them taking the bullies side, ofc though now i understand why it could be, especially bc of their phrasing and choice of words. so thank you for your response as well
Okay this is the first time I received a comment challenging my views. I read all of the comments, im glad a sparked conversation. Firstly I stand by my opinion, not as firmly after reading the comments. People pointed out holes, like how is she supposed to exactly stop Haesu, fair enough. I agree with using the terms "pathetic" and "loser" was really harsh and literally is the definition of victim blaming. I have not once mentioned that I side with the bullies. This is why I hate written comments, its quite difficult to pick up on tones and the true reason why I commented with such harsh words. The word "loser" felt right to me as the MC relies on ghost to fight her battles. I think its more so I read stories where MC is overpowered and expected to get her revenge through her own strength. I had to sit back and think: "Wait this is a more realistic story, with real bullying, in the sense of how the victim is isolated and teachers turns a blind eye" With that refreshed mindset i believe the way I deselcribed MC was unfair. Also it seems that my intent was backing the bullies, I dont see how my comment translated to this but people have a right to their own opinions.
Also people calling me a bully after I literally said I was a victim of bullying is nuts. Maybe bully culture, idk if thats the right term, is different in different countries. But from young already we are taught how to defend yourself. I got cyberbullied and physically beaten up, and this went under the radar for months. When I finally decided I had enough I literally beat up my bully, I did not win the fight, but my bully did not target me again. People push and push to see how much the victim can take before breaking. If you sit there dry mouthed and say nothing it makes you an easy target. Overall my view of ACTUAL bullying is without retaliation you wont find peace. Stand up and dont take a beating. And I don't want to put myself on a pedestal, but have stopped multiple occurrences of victims getting bullied. The fact that people can just talk through their ass thinking they know someone just based on one comment is insane.
I wanna like Yuhan so bad but he has such a shit character like I get that he is a human with worries and a sad backstory but also the way he treats others like tools and seems to have no true value in the people who he is SUPPOSED to care about is twisted. For now my sights are still on Brick because unlike Grifter, he genuinely shows care for his teammates and is the only person NaHyeon even considered letting her guard down around. I really like our main character though she feels so down to earth but also very strong for everything she has to put up with. Beautiful heart of gold. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

They are so cute. TW Warning for character’s backstory just for any new readers tho! ML is a green flag but MC has a pretty messed up history ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
