both stories are interesting. i like that it’s not the typical dynamics that is usually portrayed in dom/subverse stories.
kind of an anticlimactic ending. this story had potential for me to be amazing. i mean the possibility of a yandere cannibalistic childhood friend as the love interest is very exciting to me but this didn’t deliver that.
the duke being surprised that ilic seems to like when he starts asking for consent and being a bit more considerate of his body has me rolling my eyes. like who would’ve guessed that showing basic respect to the one you “love” would make them feel better. i’m kind of surprised by how little the dynamics between the two have changed in 10 years. i would’ve figured ilic would’ve given up on always being obedient and put up more of a fight, like the duke deserved to get more than just a black eye. also bro i knew he was deranged but him chaining up that one loyal soldier of his in the basement and then forgetting about him is just awful.

missed opportunity for the monkey king and his double to sandwich touya- i so wanted to see him bottom once. i’m always impressed with how well this author manages to create these fantastical settings and sprawling stories that fit into 5 chapters without feeling rushed.
