I dont understand the purpose of the brother. The uke is so close to the brother that something it feels like he is emotionally cheating with the brother. The uke seems closer to the brother for example the uke tells the brother his serects and about his personal life. Its just like WTF are we doing?

Why didn't the teacher tell guwon thank you for comforting him after that happen. He acts like he does not have any emotions/ feeling for Guwon at all. Guwon was hugging him and he was emotionless. He was acting like the zombie instead of Guwon. Their relationship needs a lot of ...work.
Girlypop, his reaction was completely understandable. People keep dying all around him and sometimes it's his fault for being careless. Who wouldn't be fucked up like that? It's a surprise the creator didn't make him try to off himself yet again
No literally he’s not used to this type of life obviously he’ll be affected by it
Bro someone just fell to their death infront of him... He's in shock!
To add on, he DOES have conflicting feelings towards himself and Guwon, and his own emotions regarding him. He can't be genuinely grateful to Guwon, he is still trying to process Guwon's idea of love and his insidious nature, his ease with which he kills others. Not to mention he believes Guwon killed his father.
All the while he is being influenced by the few prominent figures in the village to retaliate and get rid of the hounds and Guwon. And so far they're succeeding, that's one hound down after today.
He has to wrestle with the reality of things, but his narration and perspective is an unreliable one. Because he doesn't know what the reality is. He doesn't even think about the fact that he tries to kill himself and others in his sleep, like some sort of self defense mechanism. He considers it a little and when it gets too intense he brushes it off.
If Guwon is a villain, what is MC? And if Guwon is a villain, why does he treat MC with such adoration? We know why, but MC is struggling to recognise his priorities. Is it survival, his own/the village's, or is it being loved in a mad world? Is it satisfying a grudge he is unaware of that only manifests in his sleep, or is it something else entirely?
How exactly can he keep his wits after being surrounded by death, dilemmas, ambivalence and inconsistency all throughout his experience living at that damned village?
Also, regarding villainy, there's a big chance Teach dropped the guy off on purpose. He says he wants to save people and maybe part of his consciousness does but his sleep situation says otherwise. He dissociates when he is awake, that's all imma say.
The reality of things may be more twisted than MC's perspective allows for.
