Basically seo-in is adopted and was terrorized by his ‘brother’ jaewon. This continued for years and seo-in would follow anything jaewon asked of him because jaewon blackmailed him with info on his biological parents. Jaewon meets Yeongwoo during judo, I think they’re rivals kinda but yeongwoo is nice to Jaewon and that pisses jaewon off. Seo-in noticed the rage yeongwoo brings out of Jae won and wanted to use that to his advantage basically. Prompting seo-in to introduce himself to yeongwoo as his “fan” when really it’s to get back at Jaewon. Keep in mind in the present, Jaewon is dead.
