It's great that the story doesn't ponder too much onto the time travel bit, but I got to say that it would be insane to manage possibilities over the cours of 2000 years into the future where each action can change everything. Imagine if you were able to time travel back to the year 26 and how anything you do could alter the world.

Well, in ch41, I laught at the knuckles rings being put is if it was a marriage proposal. Kinda reminds me of Spy X Family's proposal with a grenade pin. XD
Even though it's a quick and simple ending that could, in theory, be expended, it ends properly by avoiding too much stalling and/or power leveling. Kaiju #9 and the source kaiju got defeated at great costs. The only possible thing that could follow story-wise would be cleaning up weak kaiju, having some new stronger kaiju that would erase countries (which would make anything way out of proportions), repeat of #9 such as it escaping or something or expending on the socio-polotical aspect of my intelligent kaiju who aren't evil in nature (as we know some has lived for long time ourside of humanity reach)
It's insane how things seems to escalate again and again! For every "good news" there's a 10-tons bad news that fall down onto the plot.
