In ch 53 brian is told that he is going to meet Lorkan for the first time after the covenant was sealed on that mountain thing while in the flashbacks he meets Lorkan way sooner, because Lorkan was gonna help seal the covenant. Am I missing something?? Help????
I think the talk about Lorkan happened when they're on their way coming back from the mountain. The covenant needs time to complete (smt about the covenant nails (?) nailing into Brian's heart), so Sol asks Lorkan to protect Brian in that time. Lorkan showed up during the official ceremony to the public.
I dont remember the mountain scene happening in the flashback yet… idek at this point the lore is too complex to keep up with So if I’m understanding correctly, Brian and Sol have already sealed the covenant(it wasn’t shown), and are using Lorken to do the public ceremony.
Recently, I re-skim through SS2, chapter 83: they come to the mountain then the public ceremony, Lorkan shows up. Chapter 84: they talk about they need an another dragon protecting until the convenant's stable.
THE FIRST SEASON WAS PEAK AND IT MAKES ME SO ANGRY
Season three throws out EVERYTHING interesting season 1 built up. No more mystery to where the magic is being trafficked to, why it’s being trafficked, no more Ian being skeptical yet still loyal HIS LOBOTOMY NEEDS TO BE STUDIED BE SO FR HE IS NOT THE SAME GUY AS HE WAS IN SEASON 1. Ian is magically unbrainwashed from thinking his magic is a curse, he’s magically no longer that fond of Heron LETS BE HONEST HERON ISNT THAT SCARY CREEPY OR MYSTERIOUS ANYMORE, he’s magically not defiant anymore, AND WORST OF ALL HE NO LONGER CARES ABOUT THE VERY REAL FACT THAT SOL MAY ONLY LOVE HIM CAUSE HE USED TO BE BRIAN. That conflict was so cool and intense bcs it felt real but Ian’s lobotomy made him completely forget about it. I’m so disappointed bcs season one was so nuanced and unique but the story is so shit now- it’s rushed, and completely unrecognizable.
