catfished, the cover looked lascivious but the actual scenes are tepid af.

story pacing seemed really off but it had promise. it's hard for me to understand how that single interaction colored taika's life, like a dude got into trouble so his mom would finally give him attention. did he relate to that desire for acknowledgment and acceptance? it didn't get told very well.

on the last chapter and it just got summer hammy and i can't even take the whole story seriously anymore.

the 6-chapter format is such a tragedy, there’s no time to hash feelings out
