So, the thing is: Imagine if you were reading a story that seemed interesting to you, maybe a little weird but nothing too extreme. Then slowly the story gets worse and worse, but at some point we find out it was all a misunderstanding and therefore no problem. And then it comes back worse than before confirming that we are indeed talking about r*pe or non consensual.
I personally started this manhwa because I liked the story. Then the Alpha got worse and worse.
I understand you saying: "OK, but if you don't like it anymore, stop." But the desire to know how the story ends and if Woojo somehow saves himself and distances himself from these toxic people remains.
Oh chile.. I LOVE this type of story. Toxic and tragic and dark romance is my type of plot. This story started out toxic asf. Season 1 was literally toxic and here we are at season 3. There is NO excuses. You can type long ass paragraphs all you want. Doesn't change the fact that you should of BEEN dropped it. But they continue to read it. Stop reading tragic toxic stories if you can't handle any of the toxicity. Go back to soft wholesome or soft smut and stop reading toxic smut

People are allowed to enjoy dark romance and point out when the writing, pacing, or character development become inconsistent (like the alpha). Liking a genre doesn’t mean turning your brain off and applauding everything the author does.
Some of us can enjoy dark, messy, toxic stories without pretending every plot choice is genius. You seem to think criticism means people are weak or can’t handle toxicity, when in reality it just means they have standards. Not everyone confuses being a fan with being a personal bodyguard for fictional characters.
