I guess the people commenting negative about minho's father never grasped the understanding and feeling of broken heart to the point of deep depression, now a days a lot like that is happening, and it's due to unstable mindset that need professional help for them to be stable and know what's right and wrong again. -regardless even if your a parent you can't control those emotion, we're all human too, parents are human too so judging someone because of a decision made out of brokenness is merely an idiotic judgement.
