Ok ok, so if my theory is correct, the priest was the lover of the Abella our mc is supposed to have reincarnated as. Our MC is currently in control of the body but is somehow sharing it with the old abella's soul (prolly cuz the body originally dies but ended up reviving with the mc's soul- so the reincarnation didnt quite occur in time??).
But if it had, the priest likely had something to do it- the "cheating" response didn't occur until she had met the priest for example. Furthermore, as the priest is/ will become a necromancer then he would have revived her body when she initially died. Or rather, when he accumulated the power to do so. . . And that would be the love interest(?) Of the hero/ currently a cute kid lol. Which is wack lol, imagine thinking some rando is going to appear when its really your reanimated corpse.
This would fall right in lines with the churches plans tho, the church would have complete control this way. Others have said similar things but I havent seen anyone cram it into a single post yet, so I have. (￣▽￣)╭
Is he. . . Is he a fish? Or some sort of sea creature? It would make sense if he hasn't changed? idk, but it seems plausible. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
