So theory. Dude was a dragon and fell for a young god, he at some point became so enamored with the young god that he ate him. Unfortunately after that he realized that all the things he loved about his young companion were gone and so spit him back out before he was digested. Na-in is a gentle god and so the dragons actions against mortals distress him, and this distresses the dragon so a sly mortal family whispered in his ear that they could make the young god forget and told the dragon that by doing this eventually the young god would get use to it. All that mortal family asked for in return was wealth and power over other mortals which the dragon could give a shit about anyway so he said “Deal!”
The guy knew that he was defending a world government that was there slaughtering not only innocent adults but straight up infants. Hope Aokiji takes him out.
