Any good bl like Passion, Codename: Anastasia, Roses and Champagne, Shutline, etc? A slowburn story with both men determined and tough and involved in a dangerous or suspenseful mission, preferably not too much personal angst or fluff, but sexual tension, action and heavy themes, and enemies to lovers are definitely preferred!!

I really appreciate Taeju genuinely apologizing like this. We even see how sorry he is and how much he genuinely loves Euihyun, he was humiliated but swallowed his pride for him, which shows he really does put Euihyun and Euiyoung above himself. As long as Euihyun forgives him, I think they can turn out healthy. I adore this character growth, even if he was an absolute jerk at first he really is trying to change to be better for the people he wants to be family

Does anyone have any BL/yaoi recommendations where the seme is cold or cocky but he ends up only being able to show his true colors around the uke? It can be showing his emotional weakness, sexual weakness, or personal weakness, but he refuses to let it show to anyone except the uke (and even then maybe he's hesitant). I prefer strong ukes over the pushover type with this trope, but as long as it has that tension I'll take it!!

I absolutely love the strong uke + insanely strong seme trope, where theres a strong uke but the seme is way stronger or has more authority (like spy x mafia boss) and the uke can actually stand up for himself. IDK what you would call stories like this that make you feel immersed in the world, but I love it. Honestly, Ilay is a horrible person but he makes a great character plot-wise. I appreciate that Taeui makes realistic decisions for his character, like impulsively taking his anger out and letting his human nature show. It gives him a lot of depth even as an "average" character. I absolutely love that Ilay is in a position of authority now, it adds so many potential paths to the plot and I'm in love with this whole story. It feels thorough and deep, similar to Circumstances of a Fallen Lord. I love this "slow-burn" feel where the characters grow relationships steadily and are treated as though they would be in actual society.
