And I’m just speculating based on the prologue but mayhaps he’s cheating...like dont abandoned me even though I cheated and broke our vows. Or he could be planning to bring a mistress into the castle

This is a personal critique because I’ve read the novel but i dont think the relationship bewteen the Elena and her father is properly portrayed (especially at the point we’re at in the story). In the novel there’s a lot more tension and not so bright and happy. Personally I think her smiling after their conversations don’t really match. Im the novel the dad is always pressuring her and it seems as though he cares way more about his other two kids than Elena. That’s just my personal feelings tho
Dahye and yuna are kinda peeving me off rn. Yuna knew she wasn’t over Dahye but she was making a trying to give up on her, that’s fine. But her lack of resolution is causing her to hurt people, it’s not fair to the people she’s dating. I understand she has loved Dahye for a long time but the her partners have feelings too. Dahye has been using Yuna for years as a tool to test guys; so how is it now when Yuna is starting to live her life for her and not running to her every beck and call, does Dahye want her. Then she blurts out what she wants after getting angry and just disappears with no contact. Honesty Dahye’s kinda selfish. I hope they figure out what they want from each other and decide how to structure whatever relationship they choose to have moving forward, whether it’s romantic or platonic. Idiotic couples who hurt all the people around them for the sake of their happiness are the worst, I hope no matter who Yuna ends up with it’s not like that.

I’m so pissed. Yuzu’s parents are fucking disgusting and his brother is even worse. I hope that bastard ends up dead or in jail by the end of the story. I can’t imagine what an awful reminder of his ab**e and r/// those piercings are to him. The fact his parents only seem to tolerate him on top of that, he’s gotta be so lonely. I want Yuzu to find happiness and solace.

There is no way in hell I can call this romance, genuinely it’s like a suspense thriller. It’s bit gorey and the way the story is framed, from the coloring and the style choices kinda poses this to be a lighter story. But so far there’s been kidnapping, assault, manipulation, stalking, abuse, and not to mention implied r*pe (because in this situation Lou has way more power over kile). Not to mention the projecting of Kile’s dead brother on to him. Honestly I hate Lou more than words can describe, he’s disgusting and the people with are helping him aren’t any better. I really hope Kile can get away and stay away. I hope he finds out the truth about his brother and I hope he can come to his own peace. I’d like it if he either ended up alone or at least with a person who wasn’t in love with his twin and projects him onto him, it’s really not fair to Kile.
