This chapter was triggering. As someone who has dated a younger person, the obsession that comes with being their first love is just like this. In the end, you mimic a corpse. I know that Rein has a lot of fault, but there's been a lot of damage done to her to make her this way. It breaks my heart. Two broken people who love each other and know that being together will only break them more...it turns into an unconscious competition on who can hurt the other more. Hate reading at this point.
